Local Work Group Meeting

La Plata Conservation District (LPCD), Pine River Conservation District (PRCD) and the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) gives notice that they will hold a Local Work Group (LWG) meeting. This public meeting is being held to seek input from our constituents in developing conservation priorities for our local conservation concerns and to direct NRCS programs. This meeting is open to all interested members of the general public.

The Local Work Group will focus on identifying agricultural and natural resource issues existing in our community and providing information and feedback to direct NRCS programs. Please join us!

Local Work Groups are subcommittees of the NRCS State Technical Committee and provide recommendations on local natural resource priorities to assist USDA NRCS in providing Farm Bill conservation programs in Colorado.

We urge you to attend and offer your input for this excellent opportunity to guide NRCS program funding and establish statewide conservation priorities.
